The Deree Soccer Academy’s summer celebration!

The Deree Soccer Academy held its summer celebration on campus for the end of the season on June 10-11. The season ended with a beautiful and joyful event, full of music, games, and plenty of fun!

Parents were invited to showcase their football skills against our athletes in 20-minute matches. After the matches, there were diploma awards. Scores were not kept during the matches, as all participants are considered winners!

The U13-1 team of the Deree Soccer Academy won the Soccer Link championship!

The U13-1 team of the Deree Soccer Academy won the Soccer Link championship, in which they participated.

Our athletes put in a lot of effort during this season, both in training and matches, resulting in winning the championship with only one loss to their credit.

Warm congratulations to our team athletes and our coach, Mr. Thodoris Fatouros, for the effort and attitude they demonstrated throughout the year.

The phase B’ skills test for the Deree Soccer Academy successfully completed on May 27-31.

Our young athletes were evaluated on balance, speed, skill, ball target , and keeping the ball on the air.

The coaches were happy with the athletes’ participation and effort. The recorded results will be compared against those of Phase A’ of last December, so the coaches can get the overall outcomes on the athletes’ progress during the year.

On May 27-31, the second phase of the 2023-24 Deree Soccer Academy skills tests!

The second phase of the 2023-24 Deree Soccer Academy skills tests will take place on May 27-31.

The measurements will be made in the skills of:

  • balance
  • speed
  • technique
  • ball shooting accuracy and
  • ball control

Then, the coaches will compare the results with those of the first phase, that were carried out in December, in order to evaluate the progress of the athletes and the program.

Results of the Deree Soccer Academy from the “Soccer Link 2024 Easter Cup” in Eretria!

The Deree Soccer Academy successfully participated with U11-1, U13-1, U15-1, and U15-2 teams , in the “Soccer Link 2024 Easter Cup” tournament, which took place in Eretria, from April 29th to May 1st, with 3 out of 4 teams reaching the final.

Specifically, the U11-1 team, while fighting hard, was defeated in the final with a score of 3-2. The same happened with the U13-1 team, which was defeated with 3-0. The U15-1, although demonstrating its strength throughout the game, did not capitalize on the many opportunities it had, and thus the match ended with a score of 0-0. In the penalty shootout, the opposing team was luckier and won the game with a score of 4-2. Finally, the U15-2 team did not manage to advance to the next phase.

Despite the results, the goal of participating in the tournament was for our athletes to give their best and gain valuable competition experience, which was successfully achieved.

Congratulations to all the athletes who participated, as well as to the head coach of the Deree Soccer Academy, Mr. Panagiotis Kagkarakis, and the coaches Mr. Konstantinos Siokos and Mr. Theodoros Fatouros, for the overall performance and excellent behavior of the delegation, both on and off the field!

We will be there next year, again!

The Deree Soccer Academy will participate in the “Soccer Link 2024 Easter Cup” in Eretria!

The Deree Soccer Academy will participate with U11-1, U13-1, U15-1, and U15-2 teams in the Panhellenic “Soccer Link 2024 Easter Cup” Tournament, that will take place in Eretria, on April 29-May 1.

The goal for our athletes is to give their best and gain valuable competitive experience.

Our team will be accompanied by the head coach of the Deree Soccer Academy, Mr. Panagiotis Kagkarakis, along with their coaches Mr. Konstantinos Siokos and Mr. Theodoros Fatouros.

We are very happy and honored to announce that the guest of honor at the DCAC 2024 pita cutting on Saturday, January 27 at 5:00pm at the Deree Gym, the guest of honor is Otto Rehhagel!

On the twenty-year anniversary of the unprecedented success of winning the Euro 2004with the National soccer team in Portugal, Otto Rehhagel gladly accepted the invitation to travel from Germany and attend our event in order to be honored for his life contribution to sports, soccer and the country!

You are kindly invited to celebrate the successes of our young athletes with a renown sports personality, on a historical anniversary!

Successful participation and advancement to the next round of the EPSA championships for the U11 & U15 soccer teams!

Congratulations to the Deree Soccer Academy U11 & 15 teams for their successful participation in the EPSA championships, and advancement to the next round!

The Deree Soccer Academy U11-1 completed phase A of EPSA championships successfully missing the highest division for only one point.

Our young athletes displayed strong character and resilience and brought a tie (3-3) against Apollon Chalandriou on the last game-day final. They move on to the second phase of the championships scheduled for January. Team U15 qualified among the 32 best teams from Athens, in EPSA’s highest division.

Our team displayed competitiveness, effective management and good football in all games.
