Results of the Deree Tennis Academy from their participation in ITF, Tennis Europe, and National tournaments.

The athletes of the Deree Tennis Academy delivered very good performances in the ITF, Tennis Europe, and National tournaments held from July 1-10, achieving one 1st place, three 2nd places, and one 3rd place.

Giannis Sakkas won 1st place in doubles at the ITF international tournament held in Agrinio from July 1-8, with his partner Stavros Mastrogavrakis.

Antonis Malavazos participated in the Tennis Europe International tournament Apple Bowl, in Aviles, Spain, and won 2nd place in doubles.

Meanwhile, at the National E3 tournaments held from July 5-8 in Aridaia and Rafina, Elena Dapsi won 2nd place in singles in Rafina, Melina Papageorgiou won 2nd place in Aridaia, and Dimitris Antonopoulos won 3rd place in singles.

Successful participation of the Deree Tennis Academy in the E3 tournaments in Rafina and Chalkida!

The athletes of the Deree Tennis Academy performed excellent in the E3 tournaments held on June 21-24 in Rafina and Chalkida. Specifically, Dionysis Kontogiorgis won the 1st place in the U12 category in Rafina, achieving 4 consecutive victories up to winning the tournament. Melina Papageorgiou secured 2nd place in the U16 category at the Chalkida tournament, with 3 victories leading up to the final. Congratulations to all the children for their participation and effort!

 

Theodoros Mitsakos in the Semifinals of the Panhellenic Men’s Championship!

The athlete from the Deree Tennis Academy, Theodoros Mitsakos, continues his amazing performances at the Panhellenic Men’s Championship, the most significant event in men’s professional tennis in Greece, held at Zappeio, from June 7-16.

Theodoros will compete in the semifinal – the match will have television coverage and will be broadcast live on Saturday by Cosmote TV at 12:00. The matches are open to the public for anyone who wants to watch them live.

Theodoros is now studying on a scholarship at a university in the USA, perfectly embodying the club’s goal of creating good students, characters, and athletes!

Whenever he is in Greece, he competes with our team, and we all rejoice in his successes!

Completion of the E3 National Tournament with two first places for the Deree Tennis Academy!

Congratulations to the Deree Tennis Academy athletes, Elena Dapsi and Spyros Chatzispyros, who won two first places at the E3 National Tournament held from May 24-27 in Peristeri.

Elena won the 1st place in the U16 Girls category, achieving 4 victories, while Spyros won the 1st place in the U12 Boys category, achieving 5 victories.

 

 

Two first-places for the Deree Tennis Academy at the E3 U16 National Tournament in Kalamata and the U12 Open Kinder Trophy in Porto Rafti!

Two first-places in singles were achieved by  the Deree Tennis Academy athletes, Antonis Malavazos and Spyros Chatzispyros, who participated in the E3 U16 National Tournament in Kalamata and the U12 Open Kinder Trophy in Porto Rafti, held from May 17-19. Specifically, Antonis Malavazos at the E3 in Kalamata secured 4 wins to the title, while Spyros Chatzispyros at the Kinder Trophy in Porto Rafti secured 4 wins to win the tournament.

Important distinctions for Deree Tennis Academy at the E1 National Doubles Tournament in Porto Rafti!

The athletes of the Deree Tennis Academy performed very well at the E1 National Doubles Tournament held in Porto Rafti from May 10-12.

Antonis Malavazos and Konstantinos Papanastasiou won the 1st place in the U16 Boys category, while Melina Papageorgiou and her partner Melina Alevra won the 1st place in the U16 Girls category.

Spyros Chatzispyros and his partner Dimitris Antoniou secured the 1st place in the U12 Boys category.

Results for the Deree Tennis Academy that participated at the U16 Tennis Europe International Tournament.

The Deree Tennis Academy athlete, Antonis Malavazos, won the 3rd place at singles and the 2nd place at doubles, participated at the U16 Tennis Europe International Tournament, that held in Veroia on April 15-20.

Six more athletes brought very good rankings at the same tournament.

Seven 1st places for the Deree Tennis Academy at Tennis Tournaments held on March 30-April 16.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the A.S.I.S., School Championship, and E3 tournaments, that all held March 30-April 16.

In A.S.I.S. (March 30-31 and April 13-14), Giannis Sakkas, Pierce student, won the 1st place in the High School tournament. Euthalia Andrianou won the 1st place and Anastasia Babaroutsi won the 2nd place in tournament, while George Bouskos won the 3rd place in the Junior High tournament, and Spyros Hatzispyros won the 1st place in the Elementary School tournament.

In the Panhellenic School Championship (April 1-7), our athletes Nikos Podaropoulos and Konstantinos Papanastasiou collaborated perfectly to win the 1st place in doubles.

In the E3 Panhellenic Tournament held in Patras (March 30-31), Spyros Hatzispyros won the 1st place in the his category. In E3 tournament, held in Chaidari on April 5-8), Dionysios Kontogiorgis won the 1st place in his category, and Elena Dapsi won the 1st place. Finally, in the E3 tournament in Chalandri (April 12-16), Dionysios Kontogiorgis won once again the 1st place.

The Deree Tennis Academy had very good performances in the E1, E3, and Tennis Europe tournaments.

Specifically, Valia Volonaki secured the 2nd place in the doubles competition at the international U16 Tennis Europe tournament held in Paralimni, Cyprus, on February 17-25,

In the E1 tournament on February 23-27, Konstantinos Papanastasiou and Dionysis Kontogiorgis claimed the 1st place in doubles in the U16 category and singles in the U12 category, respectively. Elena Dapsi achieved the 2nd place in singles in the U16 category, and Giannis Sakkas secured the 3rd place in singles in the U18 category.

At the E3 National Tournaments held on March 1-4, Elli Gerontikou, Antonis Malavazos, and Konstantinos Papanastasiou took the 1st place in singles in the U16 category. Additionally, Pelagia Sarri and Elena Dapsi earned the 2nd place in singles in the U16 category of the E3, while the following athletes secured the 3rd place in singles: Christos Papachristou, Paris Passas, Melina Papageorgiou, and Anastasia Babaroutsi.
